Not rain. Not cloudy skies. Not even an ankle so badly hurt that it had to be taped to the shape of the shoe and crutches used all evening. Not even THAT could stop this day from being absolutely fabulous.
My heart was just so happy all day getting to celebrate this couples Vancouver Wedding. I was so happy to photograph them again (engagement session here) but I was also thrilled to be able to photograph around my old UBC stomping grounds. After their ceremony at the Dunbar Evangelical Lutheran Church we worked our way around UBC and then the couple took a little break at the Wolf & Hound Pub…to share a pint before the ceremony. I LOVED this!! So relaxing and such a fabulous way to unwind for 30 minutes, take some alone time and then head into the reception. I want this to happen every time!
Their University Golf Club reception was beautiful. Katrina’s mother’s friend helped organize the reception decorations…amazing! Her mother made all the favours…those adorable macaroons…yep! ALL HAND MADE and DELICIOUS. The flower girl baskets were made by the moms as well. So many hands worked to make this wedding incredible and it was such a beautiful day.
A big thank you to Rose for coming out and working with me today too!!
Jeremy, Katrina…thank you for having me a part of your day. I love love loved it all and am in AWE that you made it through with that ankle!!!!! You are amazing.
