This Fort Langley Family session was a lot of fun for me for a few reasons:
1. I’ve known these people for a LONG time…aka…Brian and I shared a pond in our back yards.
2. I had the honour of doing their newborn photos last year…take a fun peek.
3. They are the FUNNEST parents and their daughter is beyond blessed. Just look at the images to come…by the end you will wish you got to hang out with them!
The weather was looking a little iffy the day of the session but they went with it and wanted to capture who they are. So they played, laughed at their daughter and it was so sweet seeing the smittenness in their eyes. They ADORE her and for good reason! She is sweet, calm, curious and just oh so cute.
I loved her little walk…she was trying to figure me out.
This series is fun…but means most to the memories of the parents. It is her backing up…her little quirks…the little things she does right now that will change so soon. Her sitting with daddy process was this…see a spot by dad…slowly back up…slowly lower bottom…then be all proud of what was accomplished. What is almost sweeter than her is the way her parents were cherishing that moment.
Alison…you are stunning!!!
They brought along an old family umbrella…and I fell in love with it! So cute and how it is shaped.
Didn’t I tell you they were the funnest?
This last photo…their little one took it…she’s a budding photographer!
