Writing about this day is so special to me. Not only was it an absolutely perfect Vancouver Wedding experience…Spanish Banks ceremony…reception at the Celebration of Water boat that overlooked Vancouver…fireworks in the evening…photos around Vancouver…but it was also the wedding of a very special person that I had known for a long time. The day was perfect.

I loved so much being a part of this day and seeing two people so well matched come together. Hillary, Kevin…thank you. Thank you for having me a part of your day and bringing me into your family for the time. I loved the time we got to spend together and look forward to hearing all the life stories to come.

Much love,

4 weeks…4 weeks until these two say “We do!!” So super excited to share their day with them in Richmond…especially after seeing how much they adore each other from this engagement session in Fort Langley. Kylie Rae loved the idea of balloons as a part of the day…so sweet…and so we wandered with balloons, laughed and enjoyed the evening in Fort Langley. I had a blast and am so thrilled for them as they get married soon.

The more I get to know this couple the more I adore them. Not only are they super creative, with mad DIY skills…but they also drive a scooter…on trips. They are awesome. And their wedding was incredible. So thoughtful, relaxed and classy. Their ceremony at St Joseph’s Parish in Port Moody was beautiful…such a sweet church. And they had a bagpiper…yep…awesome, eh? And then their reception was at the Vancouver Golf Club which is gorgeous…the most beautiful alley of trees for an entrance. But…the Vancouver Golf Club is actually not in Vancouver…but in Coquitlam. Crazy, eh? I might have to ask them one day how that came about…or if you know comment here!!

The details that were done were amazing: DIY scrabble cufflinks, DIY centrepieces, all the flowers were dried and homemade, late night sweets homemade too, and the cake was just a small store cake with a pretty topping and no one knew! Amazing, eh?

The only thing that could have made the day better? Their scooter…I wish it was the going away vehicle!!!

Christie & Malcolm…thank you for bringing me along for your adventure…I LOVED it and can’t wait to hear of all your fun adventures to come.

We considered the scooter as our wedding vehicle but figured it would just mess up Malcolm’s hair 😉
Thanks for this beautiful post Damara!ReplyCancel
