Kelly & Brad…and their family

Kelly and Brad met in high school…but sometimes love doesn’t happen right away. They met…and Brad and her brother became best friends. Time passed and Kelly’s parents always mentioned to her how nice Brad was, “He’s single now you know?” (Mom’s love to be match makers). Fast forward quite a bit and Brad is the best man at her brothers wedding; fast forward again and all-of-a-sudden the words of your parents start making sense.

Fall in love. Now married with a family. Pretty beautiful.

As I said before, I have known Kelly for a long time and it was such a special thing to meet her new family and spend time in their home with them. They wanted a lifestyle shoot which was so perfect with how the weather was! We spent time inside; they played together and let their son create an absolute mess with formula on the furniture; they snuggled and despite not having a nap that day…he did great. I just love seeing a family all snuggled on a bed, laughing and relaxing together. It’s images like this that hopefully I’ll have one day, as they remind you of what your life is like at that moment.

Part 2 of our session will come in May as we do some outdoor shoots and a couples session…I am just so excited to get to spend more time with you guys!

This is one of my favourites:) Totally unplanned:) Perfect.

I love when families cuddle and play on a bed…it feels so natural and so Saturday morning to me. This series of photos makes me smile.
